Seedlings is a startup that's building a digital ecosystem to help us all to think, live and work green focused on growing IRL chapters on college campuses.

The world will change so much in the next decades. At Seedlings, our vision is to create a network of communities, each empowered to tell stories, make connections and enable more people to take action to help us get to that sustainable future.


What is the Campus Leaders Program?

In January, Seedlings launched our first chapters at three US colleges. Each chapter has a leader who has recruited a team. Our chapters create content via Instagram and email, hold networking events with top green professionals, run action-orientated challenges and help Seedlings grow.

Our aim as a startup is to help people take their first steps on their eco journey and each team is tasked with understanding and implementing what that means on their campus. Each chapter is its own startup, and gets help and advice from world-class mentors to achieve a real impact.

We've already launched three prototype chapters, including at UC Berkeley, where our teams do research, create content, hold events and run challenges. Aided by our founding team and a network of mentors who are experts in everything from digital content creation to movement building, you'll recruit a team of fellow students and take responsibility for interpreting and implementing our mission to help more people go green at UCSC.

What are we looking for in campus leaders?

Now, we're looking for truly ambitious and capable students at other universities in the SF Bay area who want to take on the challenge of forming their inaugural Seedlings chapter. It's a big challenge, but also a big achievement, and you'll be backed by our community all the way.

We intend to grow fast and offer ample chance for advancement to our most committed leaders, to become state or regional coordinators and take even more responsibility within Seedlings.
