About Seedlings
Seedlings is a storytelling platform with the mission to empower us all to help create a wonderful, sustainable future. Our founder Matt spent years reporting on the Amazon rainforest and after his stories, readers would often ask him: "Yes, but what can we do?" That's our vision for Seedlings, for us to build a space together that not only informs us, but connects us as people and gives us the tools to do something.

We are building a network of chapters on college campuses, each empowered by our mentorship to tell stories, make connections and host events to help us all to think, live and work green. We believe that together, we have the power to channel our anxiety into compassion, excitement, and action. And that, in our own ways, we can all help to create the world we want to live in. The time to do that is now.

About the Leaders Program
We're a startup and we're growing fast. The Leaders Program is your opportunity to be part of it and learn from our network of world-class mentors as you grow your Seedlings chapter to have a real impact. Each team functions as its own startup, and takes responsibility for creating content, hosting events, growing the chapter and striking partnerships. Each week we run a series of workshops and challenges that connect you to our founding team, top advisers and your peers on other campuses.

Campus Leader
Are you ready for a challenge? We're looking for capable, motivated and inspiring individuals who want to to create chapters on their campuses and be an inaugural leader. This is a big deal.
Content Lead
You'll take charge of Seedlings' content vision for your local chapter, thinking which themes, stories and research would be most interesting and engaging for your community.
Social Media Lead
You're a natural extrovert for whom being out there on TikTok or Instagram comes naturally. You'll be the face of our social content and make sure our channels are always impactful.
Growth Lead
Seedlings is nothing unless we get it out there to thousands of people. You'll take charge of digital (organic, influencers, ads) and in-person (shout-outs, tabling, giveaways) strategies.
Partnerships Lead
You'll take charge of striking deals with local businesses, green startups and other mission-aligned brands to bring in crucial revenue to your chapter that'll help you grow even more.
Events Lead
Our main goal is to have a positive impact. That's where our events come in, where we create fun, engaging experiences that introduce many more people to ways they can be greener.

Jenna Long
Leader at San Diego State
"I've had an amazing experience being the campus leader at SDSU and inspiring environmental awareness by getting others involved with Seedlings. Whether we are interviewing local environmentalists for our Instagram page or talking to other students about what they can do to be more eco-friendly, there truly is something for everyone here at Seedlings!"
Katelyn Pepper
Leader at Kent State
"I started my Seedlings journey being a campus ambassador and then transitioned to being a campus leader for Kent State. The experience has been very beneficial and has helped me learn how to market and create content that I am passionate about while finding a target market that it serves here on the Kent State campus."
Kaitlin Dang
Leader at UC Berkeley
I've been working with Seedlings for a total of two semesters now. It has been a rewarding experience to help create a community of environmentally-conscious individuals at the UC Berkeley campus!"
